13 Year Journey to Pixar
Sunday, Nov 23rd / Hall C / 9:00am - 9:45am
After seeing Toy Story in theaters in 1995, Aaron knew he wanted to become a Pixar animator. The journey to making his dream a reality however was not easy. It's filled with alot of late nights animating, a pile of rejection letters and disapproving parents.
13 years after watching a film about a toy spaceman and cowboy, Hartline's dream came true, animating on Toy Story 3. Looking back, he shares his story from forklift operator at a trucking company to feature film animator. The obstacles he faced, the life (and animation) lessons he learned along the way.
