Presented by: Glenn Vilppu
Glenn Vilppu is the modern day master. He is best known as the teacher of working professionals  in this industry and former head of Character Animation at Cal Arts. In this presentation Glenn will show his unique approach to sketching from real life, whether you are at home with family and friends, in a cafe or on tour in a foreign country (including people,  landscape and structures). He will show the sketching system and tools that he has put together to make it quick and easy to get to work. He will draw from imagination as well as photos from the photo presentation on his 2013 Sketching Tour to Prague, Budapest and Vienna. This is the kind of sketchbook drawing that studios want to see in your portfolio! Glenn’s “Sketching on Location Manual” and  ”Vilppu  Drawing Manual”  are  both  recommended for artists applying to Disney and other major studios and is available for purchase and signing at his booth. Glenn Vilppu is currently teaching at at the Animation Guild and at UCLA in the Master’s in Animation program.
