Cameron Davis Visual Development Artist
Cameron Davis was born in Hillsboro, Oregon in 1983. He attended the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and graduated with a BFA in illustration.
Cameron began his career in the entertainment industry in 2006 and is probably best known for his work as the lead character designer and illustrator for the Activision video game franchise Guitar Hero. Since then he has worked as a full time visual development artist for DreamWorks Animation. He also has instructional DVDs on his approaches to character design available from The Gnomon Workshop.
He currently resides in North Hollywood, California and is busy writing and illustrating a series of graphic novels called Sleepwalker. He also works as a freelance designer working for feature film and television commercials.
An obsessive sketcher, Cameron can often be found out-and-about in Los Angeles recording daily life in his many sketchbooks.
