Francisco Herrera Character Designer
Born in Campeche, Campeche (MEXICO) the 8th of December 1976. In 2000, started working in the American comic book industry at Dark Horse Comics (SPY BOY & STAR WARS TALES). 2001-2003, D.C. Comics, published his first own project done called KMKZ (KAMIKAZE). Then he jumped to D.C. Comics with small projects (THUNDER CATS, SUPERMAN & TEEN TITANS GO!) From 2003-2005 started working for Marvel Comics (Peter Parker Spider-Man & Venom), In 2005 worked for first time in Europe in the French Editorial Company, Soleil in a Bande dessinee called Ashes, working at the same time in Aspen Comics, Soulfire New World Order. 2006-2008 Francisco became the official character artist at Warner Bros Consumer Products Mexico working for style guides of Lucha Libre & Looney Tunes. as a freelance for Dreamworks Animation (Character design). Between this years, he published his two sketchbook about his work. From January until May 2008 he worked as a character design artist at Paris Attitude Studio for a 3D movie called “The Prodigies” In March 2009 start working as a character design and Art Director in a new Hanna Barbera movie with Anima studios and Warner Bros
