Greg Couch Illustrator and Visual Development

GREG COUCH (Production Designer) was born in Bettendorf, Iowa, and spent the first eighteen years of his life there. This explains many things about him (if you’ve met Greg, you know what I’m talking about). He began his illustration career in 1983. Since that time he has worked on fifteen Children’s books including I Know the Moon and Halloween – both of which received Society of Illustrators Silver Medal Awards. He received an NAACP Image Award his recent picture book, Nothin’ But Trouble. Greg has also worked on six feature films for Blue Sky Studios, including Ice Age, Robots, Dr. Suess’ Horton Hears a Who and Rio. He acted as Production Designer on the upcoming film Epic and is currently helping to develop future films for them. He is still living, but now he does it in Nyack, New York.
