Janro Imaging Laboratory

Janro Imaging Laboratory develops 3D stereoscopic imaging software that provides a means for artists, designers and animators to intuitively and immediately illustrate visual concepts and create 3D artwork in space.  The company was founded by Roman Kroitor, a Canadian filmmaker who began his career at the National Film Board of Canada in the late 1940s, and went on to co-found the IMAX Corporation in 1970.  In 2007, Kroitor founded Janro Imaging Laboratory to commercialize Sandde, a stereoscopic animation application that allows the user to draw freehand in an immersive 3D environment.
