Jeremy Bernstein Story Artist
Jeremy Bernstein is a story artist and animator who has worked for Dreamworks, Sony, and Nickelodeon animation studios. His animation credits include, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, Monsters vs. Aliens, Kung Fu Panda, Shrek 2 and 3, Madagascar, Over the Hedge, and Flushed Away. He is currently a storyboard artist on Nickelodeon’s The Penguins of Madagascar T.V. series. He is a graduate of the character animation program at Cal Arts (2003), with a BFA. After receiving a Sesame Street Scholarship in his last year at Cal Arts, he completed his fourth hand drawn student film titled ‘Beach Beats’. Jeremy got his start in animation working on the very first ‘Family Guy’ pilot at Jim Keeshen Productions. He then moved on to storyboard, write, and animate for Tim Burton’s flash web series called ” Stainboy” at Flinch Studios.
Jeremy has self published three books in the last three years which he will be selling at the CTN Expo. His most recent, “Neon Lights in the Golden Hour” (2009) is a collection of Owl illustrations with funny, dark, sentimental, and happy poems. ‘And it Began’ (2008), is a book about a child cast into a wild visual universe after trying on Daft Punk’s helmet. ‘Say Havarti’ (2007) is a collection of sketchbook drawings, and illustrations. Aside from the books he has also exhibited his original paintings and illustrations at various galleries in Los Angeles, including Ghetto Gloss and Little Bird. Jeremy lives in Los Angeles….right above the Silverlake reservoir.
