Kris Pearn Animation Director
Kris was born and raised on a goat farm in Delaware Ontario Canada. He attended Sheridan College where he studied “Classical Animation” (drawing on paper). Kris has worked across the industry from television to Feature Film as an Animator, Designer, Story Artist, and Director, including such films as Surf’s Up, Open Season, Aardman’s upcoming Arthur Christmas, and Pirates. He was Head of Story on a “cartoon” called Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, and he’s currently directing an upcoming animated feature for Sony Pictures Animation. He was married in a truck stop during a snowstorm and he is probably the father of at least two children, a cat, and a dog. Despite working in the industry for 15 years, he still likes living in Los Angeles and he loves to draw.
