Max Howard President Exodus Filmgroup

Max Howard created and ran studios for Disney in London, Paris, Orlando and Los Angeles, working on some of Disney’s most memorable films including Who Framed Roger Rabbit, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and The Lion King. As President of Warner Bros Feature Animation he oversaw such hit movies as The Iron Giant and Space Jam. At DreamWorks, he was co-executive producer for Spirit, Stallion of the Cimarron.

Max Howard is currently President of Exodus Film Group, specializing in the production of independent animated feature films. The company’s first production, Igor was released in the fall 2008. He is currently producing The Hero Of Color City and Bunyan and Babe for Exodus.

Max is also the owner of Max Howard Consulting Group – www.maxhoward.net. Providing first-hand knowledge how to develop, fund, produce and distribute animated feature films. Max offers lectures and seminars on the art of storytelling, design and production for the feature animation industry. He is a guest speaker and conducts seminars/tele-seminars at companies, studios, film festivals (Cannes, Annecy, etc.), schools, colleges and universities around the world.

In addition, he is a co-partner in the International Animation Consulting Group – www.iacg.biz – a Los Angeles based consulting group focusing on building partnerships and creating film properties worldwide.

Throughout his illustrious animation career, Max Howard has worked with UNICEF to bring health and social messages to developing countries in Africa, the Caribbean and South America through the use of animation, underscoring the important role this medium can bring to overcome ethnic and social prejudices.

Max is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, ASIFA Hollywood Animation Academy, UNICEF’s – Cartoons for Children’s Rights, Next Generation – Film and Television Council, and the British Actors Equity Association.
