Greg Couch Illustrator and Visual Development

Born in Bettendorf, Iowa, Greg Couch attended college at Washington University, graduating with a BFA in painting in 1978.  An award-winning artist, Greg has been doing illustration and editorial work since 1983, and over the course of his career has worked on 15 Children’s books.  Two of his books, “I Know the Moon” and “Halloween”, received Society of Illustrators Silver Medal Awards.  He received an NAACP Image Award for the picture book, “Nothin’ But Trouble: The Story of Althea Gibson”. Greg has also worked on seven feature films for Blue Sky Studios, including ICE AGE, ROBOTS, DR. SEUSS’ HORTON HEARS A WHO, and RIO.  He is the Production Designer for the studio’s latest film, EPIC, as well as the upcoming movie ANUBIS.  He currently resides in Nyack, New York
