LINO DISALVO (Head of Animation) joined Disney in 1997 after graduating from Vancouver Film School in British Columbia. During his reign in Walt Disney Animation Studios, DiSalvo’s feature-film credits include 2005’s “Chicken Little,” 2007’s “Meet the Robinsons,” 2008’s “Bolt,” for which he also provided the voice of Vinnie, and 2010’s “Tangled.”
According to the animation veteran, his objective as head of animation for “Frozen” is to work with directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, and the members of the animation team to achieve the most entertaining and truthful performances possible.
DiSalvo, an avid Muppets aficionado, was drawn to the animation industry after seeing “The Lion King” on the big screen in 1994. Born in Brooklyn and raised in Long Island, DiSalvo is married to Rosanna Rizzuto. Their brand-new son, Everett, was born Aug. 23, 2013 (an official “Frozen” production baby), and they have an “awesome” French bulldog named Franky Meatball.
