Lynda Rollins MFA in Animation

I’m an aspiring producer/animator/writer looking to make a living doing what I love. I graduated from Columbia College Chicago where I was studying Film and Video with a concentration in Computer Animation and I am now entering my final thesis year for my MFA in Animation at DePaul University. Although my degrees are definitely designed towards the digital end, I also have experience and interest in traditional and stop-motion animation. In fact, depending on the project, I sometimes enjoy these methods even more!

I also love to coordinate, learn and help others learn and grow, so I am currently a Board Member on DePaul’s Animation Lodge student organization as well as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Grader for the undergraduate classes and a Graduate Ambassador for incoming and potential students. I have also volunteered for SIGGRAPH and CTNx in the recent past and am a member of ACM SIGGRAPH, ASIFA-Hollywood and Women In Animation.

Specialties: production assistance/management, character animation, fabrication, texture/lighting, writing
