Muertoons is a production/publishing company that was founded by animation artist, Eric Gonzalez. Muertoons was founded with the goal of bringing unique stories filled with heart, humor and culture to the world. In 2010 Muertoons officially launched with its first book, Rosita Y Conchita, an illustrated book that tells the touching story of two sisters trying to reach out to each other between the world of the living and the dead on the holiday of Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead). Eric Gonzalez has worked as a designer at Warner Bros. Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Fox and Oddbot Inc. He currently works on MAD at Warner Bros. and has worked on such shows as Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, Class of 3000, El Tigre and Playhouse Disney’s Tasty Time With ZeFronk. Eric G. is the creator of the Muertoons book Rosita Y Conchita, as well as the story illustrator and provided the Spanish text.

Erich Haeger first met Eric G. at Cal State Fullerton where they collaborated on several projects and countless bouts of tomfoolery. After college they worked together on both volumes of the Hard Ei8ht graphic novel anthologies and they also worked together at Oddbot Inc. on the Playhouse Disney show, Tasty Time with ZeFronk. At Muertoons, Erich H. co-wrote the children’s book Rosita Y Conchita and provided some additional artwork. Erich is still currently employed at Oddbot, Inc. where he has worked on such properties as Club Penguin and Phineas & Ferb.
