Patrick Morgan Ed Acosta Taesoo Kim
PATRICK MORGAN is a Detroit, Michigan native who initially moved to Los Angeles
to pursue his music career as a bass player. His “other” passion of
him pay the bills. He began his career as an illustrator working for
Disney, Warner Bros, along with other various projects. He was later hired as the Design Supervisor of Nickelodeon’s “The X’s.” From there, he joined the Visual Development Department at Stars Entertainment/Film Roman creating characters and environments for a feature animated film, and was a video game concept artist designing characters and environments for THQ/Heavy Iron Studios and Sony Play station. He is currently working on the new season of Futurerama. Patrick’s love for creating his own characters prompted him to create WHALEBOY with his “Chums” Eduardo and Taesoo. WHALEBOY has been developed for an animation series and feature as well as a vinyl collectable toy. Patrick has published four collectable art books including his newest 80 pg book just released in 2010, called “Does This Make Me Look Fat? The Art of Patrick Morgan”. TAESOO KIM was born in South Korea and at the age of 10 moved to sunny Orange (curtain) County. At an early age, he realized he loved to draw. Taesoo has worked at numerous studios such as Disney, Nickelodeon, Warner Bros, Sony and that’s it… Oh yea, He is currently on Scooby-Doo. Along with Patrick and Ed his closest “Pals” he is pursuing his dream to bringing WHALEBOY to life. Taesoo has published a 48pg book called “Stink Bomb” which is available www.taesookim.blogspot.com.
EDUARDO ACOSTA Born and raised in California, Ed always knew he wanted to be a cartoonist since the age of 4. Ed has been working in the Animation Industry for the past 15 years and currently works on FAMILY GUY as Character Designer and has worked on shows such as, SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS, CATDOG and the SPONGEBOB MOVIE. Ed’s pride and joy is his collaborative project WHALEBOY that he’s been working on with Taesoo and Patrick. No matter how many times he’s been asked, Ed still hasn’t published “Squat!”
